Choose the right salt brick pack

Start with the size of the area you want to cover, then compare pack quantities and included components. This collection includes individual bricks and larger packs, with selected options that include salt adhesive. Check each product page to confirm the number of bricks and adhesive tubes supplied.

For a first project, an individual salt brick lets you examine the natural color, texture and translucency before choosing a larger pack. It is a sample of the material; the exact appearance of a larger order will vary.

Salt brick dimensions and nominal coverage

Multiply wall width by height in feet to find the area. Multiply that area by 4.5, add your chosen allowance for cuts and spares, and round up the final result to a whole brick. For example, a 5 × 4 ft area is 20 sq ft: 20 × 4.5 = 90 bricks before allowance, or 99 bricks with a 10% allowance.

This is a nominal face-area estimate. Openings, joints, borders, corners, framing and the cutting layout can change the final quantity. Confirm the finished design with your installer before ordering.

Salt bricks or salt tiles?

These standard salt bricks are 2 inches thick. The standard pink salt tiles are 1 inch thick, and both use an 8 × 4 inch front face. That means the nominal front-face calculation is the same, while the depth and material weight differ. Compare the actual product dimensions and plan support for the chosen material.

For a different color palette, explore white salt tiles. Natural material varies, so test the look of your selected piece and lighting together.

Plan the support, joints and lighting

Plan how the completed installation will be supported and how joints, edges and any lighting will be finished. Review the salt adhesive application instructions for your materials and supporting surface. Adhesive quantity depends on the installation method; a bundle’s included tubes should not be treated as a universal coverage guarantee.

If you want a backlit feature, allow room for the lighting arrangement and future access. Bricks alone do not include a frame, lighting, power supply or mounting system unless those components are expressly listed. Compare salt wall kits and packs if you prefer a grouped set of materials.

Decorative use and material care

Himalayan salt bricks bring natural texture and color to decorative interior features in homes, reception areas and commercial spaces. Plan a dry, protected installation. For a sauna project, confirm that the material, adhesive, support and lighting are suitable for the intended temperature and moisture conditions before proceeding.

Keep the bricks protected from water during storage and installation. Follow the product care instructions and avoid treating a decorative salt feature as a structural wall or a substitute for a separately designed salt-therapy system.
