Before any product leaves our facility, we check each batch for consistency in size, thickness, density, and overall structural integrity. We also visually inspect blocks, tiles, and bricks to ensure there are no major cracks, weak points, or inconsistencies that could affect their durability during installation or use. This step-by-step quality check helps ensure that what you receive matches the same standard shown on our product pages.

Because our products are cut from natural stone rather than molded or manufactured, very minor surface roughness or small edge imperfections can occasionally occur — this is completely normal for a 100% natural product. These small variations do not affect the strength, mineral content, or performance of the tile, brick, or block. If you ever receive a piece with a major crack or structural damage that affects usability, our support team is happy to assist with a replacement.

Our salt adhesive is specially formulated for natural salt products, not regular ceramic or stone tiles. It's transparent, so it dries clear without leaving visible marks, gaps, or discoloration around the edges of your salt tiles or bricks. Regular construction adhesives are often opaque or tinted, which can show through translucent salt tiles, especially when backlit — something our adhesive is specifically designed to avoid.

At Build Salt Wall, orders placed before 2:00 PM EDT (Monday–Friday) are processed and shipped the same business day, while orders placed afterward or on weekends and holidays ship the next business day. Most orders are prepared within 0–1 business day before dispatch, and multi-item orders may arrive in separate packages for faster delivery. Please note that PO Boxes are not supported for UPS or Freight Line shipments. We work with trusted carriers — USPS, UPS, FedEx, Amazon Logistics, and Freight Line — chosen based on package size and destination to ensure safe, reliable delivery. Within the United States, orders typically arrive within 3–5 business days of shipment, covering all 50 states including Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico. For Canadian customers, delivery takes 3–5 business days after shipment, though customs clearance may add extra time. Canadian orders are subject to duties, taxes, and customs fees paid by the customer, and free shipping promotions and local pickup are not available for Canada.
