Terms of Service
Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern the use of buildsaltwall.com and purchases from [Build Salt Wall LLC], trading as Build Salt Wall (“Build Salt Wall,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Our store supplies Himalayan salt products, wall materials, and related accessories and is hosted on Shopify.
Please review these terms before ordering. Our Shipping Policy and Refund & Return Policy form part of the terms of your purchase. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. Agreeing to these terms does not replace any separate privacy consent the law requires.
Eligibility and Account Information
You must be legally able to enter into a purchase agreement. If you order for a company or another person, you must have authority to do so.
Provide accurate contact, billing, delivery, and payment information. Keep your login details safe. Contact us promptly if you think someone has used your account without permission. Payment information should be provided through the checkout payment service, not by ordinary email.
Products, Descriptions, and Natural Variation
Refer to the individual product listing for dimensions, quantities, materials, included components, and stated uses. Kits include only the listed parts. Project photos may show other materials or finished walls that are not included.
Natural salt varies in color, mineral patterns, texture, and translucency. Screen settings and lighting can also affect appearance. Allow for any stated size tolerances when planning your wall. Natural variation does not excuse supplying broken, defective, incorrect, or materially misdescribed goods.
We aim to provide accurate information and will correct identified errors. Later changes to a listing do not change the product details agreed for an existing order.
Prices, Payments, and Promotions
Review the currency, price, applicable taxes, and shipping charges displayed at checkout or in an agreed written quotation before paying. If you need a freight or project quote, we must confirm the charges before the order goes ahead on those terms.
Prices and promotions may change for future purchases. Changes do not automatically increase the price of an accepted order. The terms shown with each offer state who can use the discount or free shipping.
You must use an authorized payment method. Additional payment schedules or deposits for a wholesale or custom order apply only when agreed in writing.
Order Acceptance, Errors, and Cancellation
An automatic order email confirms that we received your order request. We accept an order when we expressly confirm acceptance or dispatch the products, whichever happens first, subject to applicable law.
Before we accept an order, we may decline it for lack of stock, a failed payment check, suspected fraud, delivery limits, or a major listing error. We will notify you and refund any payment collected for canceled, unfulfilled items and associated charges.
If we find a major error after accepting your order, we will contact you to resolve it. Your rights under the contract and the law still apply. We will not charge a higher price or supply a substantially different item unless you agree.
Contact us promptly to request a change or cancellation. We will confirm if the change is still possible. Once an order ships, we may be unable to stop it. Dispatched orders follow the applicable return process, without limiting mandatory cancellation rights.
Shipping and Delivery
Our Shipping Policy explains where we ship, estimated handling and delivery times, tracking, and freight services.
Give us an address that can receive your shipment. Before we book freight, tell us about access limits and any need for a liftgate or delivery appointment. Additional charges must be disclosed and agreed where applicable.
Delivery estimates are not guaranteed installation dates. If we cannot ship within the promised time, we will send the required delay notice. We will explain your options to cancel or get a refund and seek consent where the law requires it. Weather or carrier difficulties do not remove mandatory customer rights.
Contact us if a shipment is missing or damaged so we can investigate and arrange the appropriate resolution. Handing goods to a carrier does not, under these terms, automatically make you bear all risk of loss.
Returns, Refunds, and Delivery Issues
Return eligibility, request deadlines, shipping arrangements, and refund processing are set out in our Refund & Return Policy. Contact us before dispatching a return so we can confirm instructions.
The policy in place when you ordered applies to that order. Any later agreement and rights that the law protects still apply. Nothing here excludes remedies for defective, damaged, incorrect, or misdescribed goods where the law provides them.
Project Estimates and Installation
Calculators, coverage figures, and general project guidance help with planning. Final quantities depend on actual dimensions, layout, joints, cuts, waste, and site conditions. A calculator result is not a fixed quotation unless confirmed as such in writing.
Buying a product does not include building or fitting it unless we expressly agree in writing. Excluded work includes installation, engineering design, electrical work, permits, framing, and other building services. Ask a suitably qualified professional to check that the products and support system suit your project.
Follow product and manufacturer instructions for adhesives, lighting, supports, storage, and care. Plan for the finished wall's weight and the room's heat and moisture conditions. Protect salt materials from direct water exposure. Sauna or spa use requires attention to the actual temperature and moisture limits of each component.
Do not assume decorative salt products are suitable for cooking, food contact, animal feeding, structural load-bearing use, or a particular electrical installation unless the specific product is described and supplied for that purpose. Do not assume a decorative salt wall will treat illness or purify indoor air.
These planning duties do not remove our duty to address faulty products, wrong descriptions, or express promises we make.
Wholesale and Custom Orders
We welcome inquiries from contractors, designers, resellers, and other commercial buyers. For each bulk order, confirm stock, quantities, product details, lead times, freight needs, and any custom work.
A written quote or contract that we expressly agree to takes priority only on the points it covers. This remains subject to applicable law. An inquiry alone does not reserve stock or set a date for production. Custom and wholesale orders are not automatically final sale. Any special limits must be disclosed and agreed before you buy.
Website Content and Acceptable Use
Our branding, original text, graphics, and other website materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may use product details to shop for yourself or assess a real project. You need permission to copy our protected material for commercial use unless the law allows it.
Do not use the website for fraud, impersonation, malicious code, unauthorized access, infringement, or interference with its operation. We may restrict access reasonably necessary to address misuse, subject to applicable law. Restricting website access does not cancel valid refund rights or our obligations for paid orders.
Reviews, Photos, and Project Submissions
You retain ownership of your submissions. When you submit a review for public display, you let us show it and its attached content with the relevant product or review service. This permission is nonexclusive and royalty-free. We may make formatting changes without changing its meaning.
Only submit material you have the right to share. We may remove spam, unlawful content, personal information, or content that infringes others’ rights. We do not prohibit or penalize honest negative reviews.
Sending us private plans, messages, or photos for help or a quote does not automatically let us use them in ads. We will request permission before using those private submissions in a public project showcase or marketing.
Third-Party Services and Website Availability
Payment services, external websites, and other third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies. Review those terms when using the services. Their involvement does not remove our responsibilities as the seller of products you buy from us.
We cannot promise that the website will always be available or free from errors. We may maintain the site or change its features. Our duties for existing purchases still apply.
Warranties and Responsibility
Any express warranty provided for a product applies according to its disclosed terms. Applicable statutory warranties, guarantees, and remedies also continue to apply. These terms do not create a lifetime warranty or guarantee a particular health, design, or commercial outcome.
Except where the law says otherwise, we are not responsible for the part of a loss caused by misuse, changes made without approval, or fitting products against the relevant instructions. We remain responsible for our own faulty products and misleading statements. We also remain responsible for any other conduct where the law does not let us exclude that duty.
No provision of these terms limits liability or rights that cannot legally be limited. Questions about a product’s warranty or suitability should be raised before purchase so we can provide the relevant information.
Questions and Disputes
Contact us with your order number and a description of the issue so we can try to resolve it promptly. You do not have to contact us before using a remedy given by law or meeting a legal deadline.
Applicable law determines the rights and remedies available and the courts that may hear a dispute. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or waive a right to bring a lawful complaint or claim. You keep all protections that must apply under the laws where you live.
Changes and Interpretation
We may update these terms for future use and purchases and will revise the date shown above. Material changes will be communicated where required. Updates do not change an existing order unless a valid agreement or the law requires it.
If one term cannot be enforced, the other terms still apply as far as the law allows. A delay in enforcing a provision does not automatically waive it.
