Yes. All our Himalayan salt products — including salt tiles, bricks, panels, and animal salt lick blocks — are 100% authentic and hand-mined from natural Himalayan salt deposits. We do not use synthetic salt, dyes, or chemical treatments. Each product retains its natural mineral composition and color, which is one of the easiest ways to identify genuine Himalayan salt from imitation products sold elsewhere.
Can salt tiles and bricks be used outdoors?
Salt is naturally hygroscopic, meaning it absorbs moisture from the air. Because of this, our salt tiles and bricks are best suited for indoor use, such as saunas, spas, salt rooms, and home decor walls, where humidity levels can be controlled.
Do I need a special adhesive to install salt tiles or bricks?
Yes, we recommend using our specially formulated Salt Adhesive, which is designed to bond salt products securely without damaging their natural structure. Regular construction adhesives may not hold properly due to the unique composition of natural salt.
How do I clean and maintain a salt wall?
Salt walls should be dusted gently with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid soaking them in water, as excess moisture can cause the salt to dissolve or develop a rough texture over time.
Are your animal salt lick blocks the same salt used in tiles and bricks?
Yes, our animal salt lick blocks come from the same pure Himalayan salt source. The only difference is the shape and rope attachment, which are designed specifically for animal use rather than wall construction.
Is your salt safe for cooking as well as decor?
While our primary product lines are designed for wall decor, sauna, and animal use, Himalayan salt in its pure form is naturally food-safe. However, we recommend checking specific product listings, as cooking-grade blocks may differ slightly in thickness from decorative tiles.
