  • Measure width and height separately and note doors, outlets, edges and obstructions. Multiply width by height for the target wall area.
  • Compare a dimensioned layout and a complete parts list. Front bricks and structural blocks may have different roles; do not count them interchangeably without a drawing.
  • Confirm what the kit includes and what must be sourced separately: backing, frame, mounting hardware, electrical supply, connectors, controls and finishing pieces.
  • Ask your installer to check the wall support, completed assembly weight, fixing method and access for lighting maintenance.
